Encapsulated and graded 9.4 with a “First-Party H-Overlap Seam” seal rating of A+ by WATA Games. Presented here is a sealed copy of "Pokemon Blue Version" developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy. Released alongside "Pokemon Red," the two games were the first installments in the Pokemon video game franchise. The games were released in North America on September 28, 1998, to critical and commercial acclaim and set a precedent for what has become a blockbuster, multi-billion dollar franchise. The offered Blue version here and its Red counterpart combined to sell 200,000 copies within its first two weeks and 4 million units by the end of 1998. This presented copy features a "Made in Japan" label, a pixelated "E" rating from the ESRB on the cover of this "100% Fiber" "Double-Folded" box. A sealed copy of "Pokemon Blue Version" with an attractive seal rating of A+ and an overall box grade of 9.4.
