Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most dominant centers in NBA history and formed a lethal partnership with Kobe Bryant, winning three NBA Titles in a row with the Los Angeles Lakers (four overall), including three straight finals MVP’s from 2000-2002. The 1999-2000 season was arguably O’Neal’s best season in Los Angeles, as he led the league in scoring with a 29.7 average and field goal percentage (.574).
O’Neal wore these home yellow shorts during the 1999-2000 season. These Nike size 54 have purple stripes on the sides, bordered in white with thinner purple bordering. The NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left thigh and the Nike size 54 tag, along with a Lakers logo and NBA AUTHENTICS tags are sewn on the inside back waist. Shaq’s number “34” is handwritten in black marker on the “NAME/#” box on the Nike tag. These shorts display light wear and evidence of laundering and are original with no alterations. There is one loose thread on the back left leg and these shorts come with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication (200613E5) for the game use.
