After a solid rookie campaign during the lockout-shortened NBA season, Vince Carter took his game to the next level during the 1999-2000 season. Finishing the regular season averaging 25.7 points per game, the high-flying guard led the Toronto Raptors to a 45-37 record and a trip to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
This white Raptors jersey was worn by Carter during that first playoff season. This size 50 Nike jersey with a “LENGTH +4” features “RAPTORS” across the chest in red and purple tackle twill. Carter’s number “15” is sewn on the front in the same color pattern. The back of the jersey has “CARTER” sewn on in purple directly to the jersey and “15” sewn on in red and purple. The sides have predominant purple vertical stripe outlined on each side in a thin red stripe with two silver “V” stripes. The jersey shows excellent game use with what appears to be a blood stain on the front. The Nike tag, Raptors tag and “LENGTH +4” flap are sewn on the bottom front left tail. Carter signed his name in black marker on the back of the jersey below his number and inscribed “15”. This jersey comes with a full LOA from Mears for the game use and a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07621) for his signature.
