Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most dominant centers in NBA history and formed a lethal partnership with Kobe Bryant, winning three NBA Titles in a row with the Los Angeles Lakers (four overall), including three straight finals MVP’s from 2000-2002. The 1999-2000 season was arguably O’Neal’s best season in Los Angeles, as he led the league in scoring with a 29.7 average and field goal percentage (.574).

      Offered is the Nike home yellow Lakers jersey worn by O’Neal during the 1999-2000 season. This size 60 (LENGTH + 6) jersey features the “Lakers” script sewn on across the chest in purple and white tackle twill. O’Neal’s number “34” is sewn on the front and back in white on purple tackle twill and “O’NEAL” is sewn directly on the upper back in purple on white. Each side of the jersey has a thick vertical purple stripe with white and purple outlines and the collar and open arms are outlined in purple.  The NBA logo is embroidered on the upper left chest and a black velvet is attached to the left shoulder edges to honor Wilt Chamberlain, who passed away on October 12, 1999, shortly before the season began.

      The Nike manufacturer’s tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail that includes the Lakers’ logo and the NBA Authentics logo on each side. O’Neal signed his name in black marker below his front number and inscribed “34”. The jersey shows light use with minor pulling of the number threads. This jersey comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07015) for his signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
