Strawberry made a comeback after surviving cancer in 1999, and although brief, his 3-run homer in the ALDS helped propel the Yankees past the Rangers and into the ALCS. The Rawlings 595A bat shows heavy use and is uncracked. There is some checking on the front of the barrel along with strong blue ink transfers and many ball and bat rack streaks. The handle shows a moderate coat of pine tar. PSA/DNA sticker 1B07414 is affixed to the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity 1B07446 from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 8.5.
