Wearing his signature prescription goggles, Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson ran roughshod over defenses during his 11 seasons in the National Football League. A human highlight reel, Dickerson’s 2,105 rushing yards are an NFL record. The four-time NFL rushing leader set the NFL rookie rushing record when he rushed for 1,808 yards during his 1983 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year season. The six-time Pro Bowl selection led the NFL in touchdowns in 1984 and was a three-time NFC Offensive Player of the Year. Dickerson played for four teams during his 11-year career, primarily with the Los Angeles Rams, and was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
