Tino Martinez held down first base for what might be the greatest dynasty in baseball history – the 1996-2000 New York Yankees. Facing the unenviable task of replacing Yankee legend and fan-favorite Don Mattingly following the 1995 season, Martinez quickly became one of the key members of the dynasty run to close out the 20th century.

In that five-year slot, Martinez helped bring four World Championships to the Bronx including 1999 from which season this bat dates to. The Louisville Slugger B349 model bat has a crack on the handle that has been professionally repaired and shows outstanding use. There are several ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel, along with blue ink transfers. Other marks on the barrel include cleat impressions and a moderate to heavy coating of pine tar has been applied to the handle. Martinez’s number “24” is hand written in black marker on the knob end. Martinez signed his name in black marker on the barrel and added the inscription “96 98 99 00 WS CHAMPS”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (E36711) for the game use, who have graded this bat a near perfect GU 9.5 and a LOA from Steiner Sports for the game use. There is also a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C84539) for the signature.
