Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa captivated MLB fans in 1998 with their historical chase of Roger Maris’ single-season home run record of 61. McGwire would be the first to break the record, finishing the season with an incredible 70 home runs and Sosa finished four behind him with 66. Presented is a 66-card "HR Parade" Sammy Sosa sub-set from the 1999 Topps production. The Chicago Cubs slugger has signed each of these cards in bold blue ink on the obverse.
