With five NBA titles to his name and a spot as the league’s fourth all-time leading scorer locked down, it’s no wonder Kobe Bryant enters the conversation with the likes of Michael Jordan and LeBron James as arguably the game’s greatest player. This game-used gold Lakers home jersey comes from a 2000-01 season that saw Bryant win his second championship. Bryant averaged a ridiculous 28.5 points per game that season. The jersey features “LAKERS” across the chest and “BRYANT” across the back in purple-on-white tackle twill. Bryant’s number “8” appears on both sides in white-on-purple tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a Nike manufacturer’s tag with size 50 with an attached “LENGTH +4” tag indicating size modifications. A Nike tag on the side seam inside the jersey reads “2000-01.” The jersey exhibits evidence of light game use and comes with an LOA from D.C. Sports Collectibles.
