Offered in this lot is a Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers warm-up suit worn during the early 21st century. The jacket is consistent with the 2000-01 style Lakers warm-up, while the pants are tagged to the 2002-03 season. Bryant and the Lakers took home the 2000-01 NBA Finals championship with a historic five-game victory over the Philadelphia 76ers for their second-consecutive NBA Finals title. The jacket in this lot is gold, with a Lakers logo, a Nike swoosh, and an NBA logo patch sewn on the jacket’s front. “LAKERS” is sewn on the back of the collared jacket below a second Nike swoosh. A Nike size “3XL” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. A black “8” is handwritten on the tag. The pants in this lot are gold, with white and purple accents. An NBA logo patch and a Nike swoosh are sewn on the left leg, while a Lakers logo and “Los Angeles” are sewn on the bottom of the same leg. A Nike size “3XL” tag is sewn on the back inside waistband. A black “8” is handwritten on the tag. The warm-up comes with a LOA from MEARS (317961).
