In only his third season in the NBA, Paul Pierce began to establish himself as one of the premier players in the league. Pierce averaged 25.3 points per game in the 2000-01 season as the Celtics began their climb back to relevancy after years of poor play. Pierce was the catalyst for the Celtics in their resurgence and he wore this home Celtics jersey during the 2000-01 season.
