The five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Irving Fryar wore this burgundy Washington Redskins helmet in 2000. Fryar, playing in his 17th and final NFL season, caught 41 passes for 538 yards and five touchdowns at the venerable age of 38. Fryar, a star for the Patriots, Eagles, Dolphins, and Washington, finished his career with 851 receptions for 12,785 yards and 85 total touchdowns. This offered Redskins helmet is burgundy, with Washington’s logo applied to both sides of the helmet. The facemask is yellow, and the chinstrap is still attached. The helmet has been signed by Fryar, as well as his Hall of Fame teammates Deion Sanders, Bruce Smith, and Darrell Green. Green inscribed “Skins” and “1983-2000?”, while Fryar inscribed “Game Worn!”. Sanders inscribed “God Bless” and a short inscription. The signatures have been written in black marker. The helmet comes with a Fryar LOA.
