Muhammad Ali 's strong, blue ink signature decorates the obverse of this premium collectible. Additionally, one of the world's most enduringly beloved figures has contributed a training-worn glove relic to the card's memorable design. (The boxing glove piece's use by Ali derives from the champion's period of training before facing George Foreman in 1974.) A congratulatory statement on the card's back attests to the authenticity of the signature and the genuineness of the relic component, and serves as Upper Deck's COA. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered "08/70." Ali, three-time holder of his sport's heavyweight title and inaugural member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, passed away in 2016.
