After a career that included eight Pro Bowl selections, Cris Carter was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013. This classic Reebok jersey was game used by the Hall of Fame Carter during the 2001 season, the last of his 12 sensational seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. The bright purple mesh top sports Carter’s “80” in white and yellow tackle twill on front and back, with “C. CARTER” stitched in white and yellow tackle twill on a matching purple nameplate above the rear number. Carter signed and inscribed “80” on the “8” on the front in black marker, along with the words “GAME JERSEY!!!” The mustachioed Viking logo is embroidered directly onto each shoulder and the collar tag indicates “01-40” for year and size. The tail tags sport the Viking helmet logo, along with one for size 40, and another with “2”LB” stitched alongside. The upper left chest has a small white and yellow football patch containing the number 77, in memory of Korey Stringer, a lineman who passed away during training camp that season. This jersey comes with LOA from Upper Deck for the game use and a COA from Beckett Authentication (G15669) for the signature.
