Incredibly rare and meaningful pair of Kobe Bryant Adidas sneakers. Here is a prototype of the Kobe Two Flag shoe. These were made as a tribute to those killed in the 9/11 tragedy. Kobe wore a pair of these shoes on the opening game of the 2001-2002 Lakers season in a game against Portland on 10/30/2001 , and also gave a pair to then high school player LeBron James who wore them in one of his games. Only 3 of these shoes were made as they are the prototype for the shoes that Adidas eventually made 30 pairs of. Size of sneakers are in Kobe's size,(UK 13.5, US 13). Shoes are in original plastic from as presented to the senior footwear development manager of Adidas. Inside both of the sneakers is an Adidas corporate tag with the project number, name of shoe, serial # and date of sample. Perhaps the most famous and sought after Kobe Sneaker of all time. Comes with LOA from the former Senior Footwear Development Manager for Adidas Basketball, who states that to the best of his knowledge, these are one of only two pairs of these shoes still in existence.
