Great Giants home jersey from Strahan's record breaking 2001 season. One of the most popular players in Giants history, Michael Strahan had a defensive season for the ages when he shattered the single-season record for sacks. He was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year and now in retirement has made himself into a popular commentator and TV talk show co-host. This blue Giants home jersey is from the Giants October 7, 2001 23-9 win over Washington in which Strahan had his fourth sack of the year. The blue best jersey shows heavy game use with contact scuffs and turf marks. Some loose threads can be seen throughout but the stitching on the numbers and letters are tight. Strahan's number "92" appears on the front, back and both shoulders in white tackle twill. The white cloth tagging inside the collar reads "01-48". Reebok label is sewn to the lower left front tail and has added "6" L.B. 48" tagging. The Reebok logo appears on both sleeves and "STRAHAN" is on the back in white tackle twill on a blue nameplate. Accompanying this jersey is copy of a photo of Strahan taken during the October 7, 2001 game that can be photo matched as being the same jersey offered here.
