Offered is a signed Rickey Henderson game-used Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball with career hit number “2,986” written on the ball. Henderson collected the hit on September 17th, 2001, for the San Diego Padres against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Henderson’s fifth-inning double off Kevin Brown gave the former MVP his 2,986th career hit. The baseball shows moderate use, and the Hall of Famer has signed its sweet spot in black pen. The inscription “2,986 Hits” on the panel south of the sweet spot is written in an unknown hand. The ball comes with a LOA from Beckett for the signature (AA08627) and a LOA from MEARS (319739) for the game use.
