Offered is a signed Rickey Henderson game-used Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball with career hit number “2,970” inscribed on the ball. Henderson grabbed hit number 2,970 in a 12-5 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on July 29th, 2001. Henderson finished 2-for-5 with two RBI, with his seventh inning RBI single off Mike Buddie serving as the 2,970th hit of his career. Henderson has signed the sweet spot of this baseball in black pen. An inscription reading “2,970 Hits” is written on the ball in an unknown hand. The ball shows moderate use and comes with a LOA from Beckett for the signature (AA08631) and a LOA from MEARS (319734) for game use.
