Presented here is a 2002-03 Michael Jordan game worn pair of road Washington Wizards shorts his final season that comes directly from the personal collection of George Koehler, who is a long-time associate of Michael Jordan dating back to when Jordan joined the Bulls in 1984, having originally been his limousine driver, then his personal assistant and friend. Koehler was also part in the popular ESPN documentary The Last Dance. These shorts are dark blue and made by Nike. The size 44 shorts have the NBA logo patch on the upper left leg and the left side has a black stripe with bronze piping borders. The Wizards’ logos are on the bottom sides. The Nike size 44 tag, along with an “INSEAM +4” flag and Wizard’s logo and NBA AUTHENTICS tags are sewn on the inside waist. Jordan’s number “23” is handwritten in black marker on the wash tag flag below the Inseam flag. These game used shorts come with a LOA from George Koehler, who states in his LOA that this item came directly from his personal collection and was received directly from Michael Jordan.
