Albert Pujols burst on the Major League scene by winning the 2001 National League Rookie of the Year. In the next three seasons, Pujols continued to tear apart National League pitching by averaging 41 home runs, 125 RBI and a .334 batting average. Pujols wore this all-red St. Louis Cardinals cap circa 2002-2004. This New Era size 7 ¼ cap features the interlocking “StL” logo sewn on in raised white stitching with a navy background. The gray under brim has Pujols’ number “5” handwritten in black marker, along with the initial “IS”, “AJ” and “DP” for his wife and children. This six-panel hat displays heavy game use with sweat and dirt stains on the under brim and inner lining. This hat comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use.
