Albert Pujols followed his 2001 Rookie of the Year season with an almost equally impressive 2002 campaign, knocking 34 home runs with 127 RBI and a .314 batting average, finishing second to Barry Bonds in National League MVP voting. The Old Hickory AP1 model bat shows heavy use and is un-cracked. The barrel contains many ball marks with stitch impressions and bat rack paint streaks. The handle has been shaved to enhance the grip and Pujols’ number “5” has been hand written o the knob in black marker. This bat comes with a full LOA from MEARS (315047) for the game use, with a grade of A8.
