The Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter wore this left Jordan turf shoe during the 2002 MLB season. Jeter made his fifth straight All-Star team for the Yankees in 2002, hitting .297 with 18 homers and 75 RBI. “The Captain” flashed his speed with 32 stolen bases while scoring 124 runs for the powerful Yankees offense. New York captured the American League East title in 2002 with a 103-win season. Jeter, a 14-time All-Star and five-time World Series champion, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020. The turf shoe offered in this lot is primarily black, with a white midsole. A black Jumpman logo is applied to the heel. Jeter has signed the outside of the size 11.5 turf shoe in silver marker. The shoe comes with a Jeter/Steiner LOA and a Steiner Sports COA.
