Former NBA star Rick Fox enjoyed a stellar 13-season career playing for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers. The Canadian-born forward out of the University of North Carolina, won three titles with the Lakers from 2000-2002 and retired following the 2004 season. Fox played in all 82 games during the 2001-02 season and was the fourth leading scorer on the Lakers, who won their third straight title. Offered here is the personal miniature Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy that was presented to Rick Fox following the Lakers’ victory over the New Jersey Nets. This brass trophy is approximately 12-inches tall and is modeled exactly after the original model with a  5 x 6-inch square base, a podium shape attached to the base and basketball placed in an off-center position. The base has etched “THE LARRY O’BRIEN TROPHY” and “2002 WORLD CHAMPION LOS ANGELES LAKERS 15-4 RICK FOX” along with the NBA logo on the left. This trophy displays wear and tarnishing, along with a small dent on the ball, but is overall good condition. This comes with a LOA from Rick Fox.
