Helton was a member of the National League All-Star team in 2002, hitting .329 with 30 longballs and 109 RBI. This was Helton’s fourth straight season with 30 homers and 100 RBI, and the former University of Tennessee quarterback earned both a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger for his sterling play.
