Despite missing the first six weeks of the season with a shoulder injury sustained during a collision with Toronto Blue Jays catcher Ken Huckaby on Opening Day, Derek Jeter still managed to rap out 156 hits with a .324 batting average during the 2003 season. This being the season he wore this size-48 New York Yankees white pin-striped home jersey. Jeter’s soon to be retired number 2 is in navy tackle twill on the back with a red, white and blue MLB logo on the back collar. A New York Yankees 100th anniversary patch with the team’s bat-in-hat logo is on the right sleeve. The Yankees iconic interlocking NY logo is also in navy tackle twill on the left front breast with an MLB Authentic/Russell Athletic manufacturers label with size “48” “+2” flag tags and a “2003” strip tag at the left front tail. White home jersey comes with Yankees-Steiner Collectibles hologram and LOA.
