The legendary LeBron James wore these Nike Zoom LeBron II sneakers during the 2004-05 NBA season, his sophomore campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Already a global superstar at the age of 20, LeBron’s second year saw the kid from Akron ascend to new heights with an insane 27.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game. James led the NBA by playing 42.4 minutes per game as he carried the Cavaliers to a 42-40 record only two years after finishing 17-65. LeBron made his first All-Star team in 2004-05, beginning a streak of (for now) 15 consecutive appearances in the NBA All-Star Game.

These size 16 Nike Zoom LeBron II sneakers are high-tops in the white/navy-varsity red colorway. This was the second colorway of the Zoom LeBron II’s, released to the public on December 18th, 2004 after the black/white-metallic silver-varsity red colorway released in November. Detailed graphics, including a LeBron James “Lion” logo, appear on the ankle areas and tongues of both shoes. A Nike logo is etched on the tongues, while James’ number “23” is etched on the outside of each heel. “LEBRON" is etched on the back of each heel and a “L23” logo is applied to the outside of each ankle. A red Nike swoosh is applied to the base of each tongue. Please note that while these shoes were originally released with a detachable strap on the upper heel, however neither of these shoes retain the strap. LeBron has signed the outside instep of each shoe in black marker, inscribing “To T. Lue” on each shoe. Lue played for the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks in 2004-05, although he would later win an NBA title and three Eastern Conference championships with James as the head coach of the Cavaliers. These kicks come with a LOA from JSA for James’ signature and a LOA from Tyronn Lue.
