A formidable collegiate outside linebacker at North Carolina, Julius Peppers was taken second overall in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. This authentic black mesh Reebok jersey was worn by Peppers during his breakout 2004 season, where he distinguished himself by setting a new defensive record with a 97-yard interception return. On the tail of this garment is a “Reebok NFL Equipment” tag with attached flag tags reading, “46” (size) and “6”LB.” Individual numerals in white-on-teal double tackle twill – representing Peppers’ number “90” – are sewn to the front and back as well as the sleeves; a nameplate of the same material occupies the back. Screened-on team logo designs also adorn the sleeves. A chain-stitched cloth strip reading, “04-46,” is sewn inside the back of the collar. Shows moderate game use, with wear at the shoulders and on the crotch strap. LOA from MEARS (Grade: Authentic).
