In 2004 White Sox slugger Paul Konerko surpassed the 40-home run mark for the first time in his career and drove in 117 runs. Paul’s big bat helped the Sox finish second in their division, whetting Sox fan’s appetite for the World Championship that would follow the next season. This offered Louisville Slugger C271 model bat is un-cracked, exhibits heavy use and was used by Konerko during the 2004 season. There are ball marks with stitch impressions and white leather scuffs visible on the barrel and a light coat of pine tar is found on the handle. Konerko’s number “14” is handwritten on the knob end in silver marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15245) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
