2004 was all-Vlad Guerrero – the Angels star led or finished in the top 10 of 20 offensive categories as he pounded his way to his first and only MVP Award. His tremendous season was recognized by fans nation-wide when he was received more All-Star votes than any other AL outfielder. Tireless down the stretch, Vlad virtually carried the Angels to their first division title since 1986. When the MVP votes were tallied, Guerrero receive 100 more than the runner-up. His 2004 Louisville Slugger C243 model bat shows great game use. The barrel is covered in ball marks that include white leather scuffs, stitch impressions and ink transfers. There are cleat imprints throughout, and the handle has been taped in a spiral pattern and a coat of pine tar applied. Vladdy’s number “27” is handwritten on the knob and the hall of Famer has signed the barrel in gold marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16519) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5 and a LOA from JSA (BB34251) for the signature.
