It was a warm homecoming when Jeff Kent joined his hometown LA Dodgers in 2005: feeling good to be home, Kent had the greatest year for a Dodgers second baseman since Jackie Robinson. Kent went on to post great numbers, winding up his long career just shy of .300 for the four summers he spent in Dodger Blue. This bat was used by Kent to hit his career double number 554 during the '08 season and he notes that milestone in black Sharpie beside his signature on the barrel. The Louisville Slugger M110 show outstanding use and has a handle crack. Kent's number "12" is handwritten on the knob end in black marker. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat GU 9.5.
