By 2005 the first baseman was considered the best Cardinal since Stan Musial. To some that might seem a big pair of cleats to fill but Pujols more than did so - batting .330 with 41 home runs and 117 RBI. The Old Hickory JL18 shows moderate game use and is uncracked. Several ball and stitch impressions are seen on the barrel as are white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Pujols' number "5" is written on the knob end in silver marker.
