As one of the dominant power-hitters from the late 1990s to mid 2000s, Manny Ramirez was one of the key contributors to the historic 2004 Boston Red Sox, who erased 86 years of misery for Red Sox Nation in winning the 2004 World Series. This size 7 ½ New Era navy blue Red Sox hat with the red and white raised “B” in front, was worn by Ramirez during the 2005 season where he hit an impressive 45 home runs and drove in 144. The MLB logo is embroidered in red, white and navy blue on the back of the cap and Ramirez’s “24” is hand written in black marker on the gray underside of the brim. The hat shows light game use with minor sweat stains on the inner white sweat band and the hat has been dated to 2005 as New Era was the cap provider for that season. Ramirez signed his name in silver marker and inscribed “G/U 2004” on the outer brim. This hat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC04031) for the signature and a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use. Please note that despite the "G/U 2004" inscriptions on the hat, Miedema has determined this hat was used in 2005.
