Despite a veteran lineup and fierce pitching staff, in the spring of 2005 the Yankees found themselves an embarrassing 7 ½ games out of first place. To put their season back on track the Yanks reached into their farm system and pulled a young Robinson Cano out of Columbus. Cano electrified the team, drawing comparisons to Rod Carew by his manager Joe Torre. Cano’s rookie year SAM KB1 model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. Tape has been removed from the handle. Cano has signed the barrel in black marker adding “Game Used Rookie”. This bat comes with LOAs from PSA/DNA (1B10357 & AA07662) for both game use and signature.
