Nine-time Golden Glove winner Torii Hunter was sidelined most of the 2005 season when he injured himself trying to scale Fenway's Green Monster in pursuit of a ball. Still, the Twins star managed to hit .269 in limited playing time. Hunter still reached double-digits in home runs with 14 and had 56 RBI as well. Hunter used this Rawlings 491B model bat during the 2005 season. This bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers, stitch impressions and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. The handle has a coating of Mota Stick and the model number “491B” is stamped on the knob. “Hunter” is hand written in black pen on the knob as well. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15262) for the game use. Please note that the consignor did not want to purchase the grading on this bat. However, we can inform all potential bidders that this bat has been pre-certified as a GU 10 by PSA/DNA and if the winning bidder chooses to have this bat graded, it will be guaranteed to receive a GU 10 grade.
