Up until 2006 Kobe was known by his famous "31" numbered jersey. When the '06-07 season began Kobe took to the boards wearing the unfamiliar "24" on his back. Turns out that the Lakers star had worn "24" in high school and when a rookie in the NBA found that the digits were already taken by another player. In '06 the opportunity to return to the familiar (to him) "24" came up, he jumped at it. That alone is a noteworthy footnote to a game used Kobe Bryant game used jersey, but there is something else unique about the garment we offer here: during the 06-07 season the Lakers produced a special uniform worn by the team only on Sunday home games at the Staples Center. These custom jerseys swapped the familiar golden yellow body for pure snow white producing a dazzling visual against the Staples Center boards. A glance at the team's schedule shows that the Lakers played just 14 of their 41 home games on Sundays which makes this a very rare jersey indeed.
