Robinson Cano used this bat during his early seasons with the Yankees. During that period, 2006-2008, the second baseman hit a collective .304 and slugged 48 home runs, establishing himself as one of the hottest young players in the AL. Cano’s 2006-2008 Old Hickory J143 model bat shows tremendous game use. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch impressions along with ink transfers and white leather ball scuffs. Cleat impressions are present and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle. The knob end has several ink markings and an “Old Hickory” sticker affixed. Cano has signed the barrel between the center brand and endorsement in vibrant blue marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18697) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10 and a COA from Steiner Sports for the signature.
