Not since the 1937-38 Chicago Blackhawks had any team from a major pro sport suffered a losing regular season only to win a championship. Yet the 2006 Rush accomplished the feat with a 7-9 season record, followed by upset playoff wins over the Nashville Kats, Colorado Crush and San Jose SaberCats, and then a 69-61 ArenaBowl XX victory over the Orlando Predators. Offered here is an ArenaBowl XX trophy that measures 18 inches tall. The base itself is approximately 3 ½ inches tall and is 10 ½ inches in diameter. Along the wooden base is a silver-colored band that has printed in black “CHICAGO RUSH 2006 ARENABOWL XX CHAMPIONS CHICAGO 69-ORLANDO 61 JUNE 11, 2006”. The middle portion has a black background with silver columns and the AFL logo with “COMMITMENT”, “CHARACTER” and “EXCELLENCE” printed on the top and bottom borders. The trophy is topped with an 11-inch diameter bowl with raised football players on the outside. This trophy is in excellent condition and is a wonderful piece of AFL history.
