Not since the 1937-38 Chicago Blackhawks had any team from a major pro sport suffered a losing regular season only to win a championship. Yet the 2006 Rush accomplished the feat with a 7-9 season record, followed by upset playoff wins over the Nashville Kats, Colorado Crush and San Jose SaberCats, and then a 69-61 ArenaBowl XX victory over the Orlando Predators. Defensive end Khreem Smith contributed a team-leading eight sacks and six forced fumbles, to go along with 22.5 tackles. He was selected for both Second Team All-Arena and All-Rookie honors. His large, 10K-white-gold, size 14 ring features 152 points of diamonds and 24 points of sapphires, with a nice enameled "Arena Bowl Las Vegas XX" shank design. NM condition. Accompanied by: 1) Rare Henry Kay Jewelers presentation box; 2) 2007 purchase LOA from Howard Kaplan, president of Henry Kay Corp.; and 3) 2007 Henry Kay appraisal letter estimating the replacement value of raw materials alone at $4,950.
