Former Detroit Pistons shooting guard Richard “Rip” Hamilton wore this Detroit Pistons wore this Detroit Pistons #32 home jersey in 11 games during the 2007-2008 season that saw the Pistons win the Central Division with a record of 59-23, making it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals where they were bested by the Boston Celtics in six games. Hamilton helped lead the Pistons to six straight Eastern Conference Finals appearances during his tenure with the team, with back-to-back NBA Finals appearances, winning the Larry O’Brien Trophy with the team in 2004.

Hamilton wore this jersey in 11 games at the Palace on Auburn Hills in Auburn, Michigan with the first time during the Pistons’ 83-78 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on November 23. 2007. Hamilton again wore this jersey during the Pistons’ 109-75 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Pal on November 28th, 2007, and again when the Pistons defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 104-85 on December 9th, 2007. December 14th saw the Pistons defeat the Atlanta Hawks 91-81. December 28th, 2007 saw the Pistons defeat the Indiana Pacers 114-101. December 31st, 2007 saw the Pistons defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 114-69, and on January 15th, 2008 during the Pistons’ 103-89 victory over the Toronto Raptors. The Pistons would fall to the Sacramento Kings 100-93 on January 18th. The Pistons would defeat the Orlando Magic on January 25th, 2008 101-93. The Pistons would defeat the Portland Trail Blazers 91-82 on February 8th, 2008, lose to the Magic on February 19th, 2008, 103-85. Hamilton would record a total of 248 total points during the above mentioned 11 games.

This game used white mesh pullover Detroit Pistons home jersey features red lateral sides and blue trim on the sleeves and collar. “PISTONS” appears across the chest in red-on-blue tackle twill. The number “32” appears on the chest and back of the jersey in red-on-blue tackle twill. A circular Detroit Pistons “50th Anniversary” patch is found on the right chest of the jersey. An NBA “Logoman” patch is located on the jersey’s left chest. An Adidas Detroit Pistons NBA AUTHENTICS “CLIMALITE” manufacturer’s tag with size “52”, “2007-2008”, and “LENGTH+6” flags is affixed to the jersey’s left front tail. “HAMILTON” appears across the back of the jersey in blue tackle twill. Hamilton signed and inscribed the number “32” on the number “2” on the back of the jersey with a black marker. The signature and inscription are bold, and the jersey displays excellent signs of game use and contains brown stains on the front of the jersey, black marks on the back of the jersey, and stains around the sleeves. The game used Detroit Pistons home jersey worn by Richard “Rip” Hamilton during 11 games of the 2007-2008 NBA season comes with an LOA from the MeiGray Group (158740) who photo matched the jersey to the above 11 games, and an LOA from Beckett Authentication (H39777) for the signature. Additionally, there is a LOA from Mike James, who was personally given this jersey by Rip Hamilton.
