Justin Upton spent his first six seasons in the Major Leagues with the Arizona Diamondbacks. In his first two seasons of 2007 and 2008, Upton combined for 17 home runs and 53 RBI as he developed into one of the top outfielders in the game today. This offered Old Hickory J143M model bat was used by Upton during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. This bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks, stitch impressions and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. There is a heavy coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel and Upton’s number “10” is hand written in black marker on the inside of the cupped barrel and the knob, along with the bat’s model number “J143M” and length/weight “34-31 ½” on the knob. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15257). Please note that the consignor did not want to purchase the grading on this bat. However, we can inform all potential bidders that this bat has been pre-certified as a GU 10 by PSA/DNA and if the winning bidder chooses to have this bat graded, it will be guaranteed to receive a GU 10 grade.
