New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw wore this helmet during the Giants monumental 17-14 defeat of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. The Patriots entered the game 18-0, gunning for the first perfect season in the NFL since the 1972 Dolphins. Led by the seemingly invincible Tom Brady, the Patriots were heavy favorites heading into the contest. However, thanks to the miracle catch made by David Tyree and the brilliant performance of their defense, the Giants were able to execute a stunning upset of the Patriots, with unfazed quarterback Eli Manning earning MVP honors for his game-winning performance.

Bradshaw was one of two feature backs for the Giants, using his speed and cutting ability to complement power back Brandon Jacobs. Bradshaw carried the ball nine times for the Giants, earning 45 rushing yards against a fearsome New England front seven. This was the first of two Super Bowl victories for Bradshaw, who would hoist the Lombardi Trophy again with the 2011 iteration of the Giants. This helmet has a blue shell bisected by a single red stripe. A white Giants “NY” logo decal has been applied to each side of the helmet. Bradshaw’s number “44” appears on the front and back of the helmet, each time applied in white decals. The back of the helmet features a Super Bowl XLII logo, NFL shield, and American flag. Additionally, a memorial decal for Sean Taylor, the Redskins safety murdered in a botched home invasion, is applied to the back of the helmet. This Riddell helmet features a bumper above the gray facemask, and a “NY” branded chinstrap. This helmet shows excellent evidence of use and has been photo matched by Resolution Photomatching.
