Barry Bonds, the all-time home run leader in Major League Baseball, wore this jersey and undershirt during the 2007 season, his final year in baseball. At the age of 42, Bonds hit the final 28 of his 762 career home runs, including his 756th to pass Hank Aaron on August 7th. Despite the best efforts of Major League pitchers, who walked Bonds an MLB-leading 132 times, the burly leftfielder added 66 RBI and a .276 batting average during his final year. Bonds finished his 22 season career with seven National League MVP Awards, 14 All-Star Game appearances, and two batting titles.
Bonds wore this gray, road button down San Francisco Giants jersey during the 2007 season. It has “SAN FRANCISCO” sewn across the chest in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. “BONDS” is sewn across the back shoulders in black, orange, and gold tackle twill over a matching gray nameplate. His number “25” is sewn on the back of the jersey in black, orange, and gold tackle twill. The left sleeve has a circular Giants logo, a black Majestic logo, and a memorial patch for former Giants reliever Rod Beck sewn onto the sleeve. A 2007 MLB All-Star Game patch is sewn on the right sleeve, and a MLB logo patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic tag is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. 2007 and size “48” flags are attached to the tag. This jersey shows moderate game use, including slight piling on the front and puckering on the numbers. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema. Also included in this collection is a black turtleneck undershirt. “GIANTS” and a MLB logo is sewn on the collar of the turtleneck. A Majestic size “L” tag is sewn on the back inside collar, and a separate Majestic tag is sewn on the front left tail.
