The Hall of Fame ace Greg Maddux wore this brown and yellow San Diego Padres batting helmet during the 2007 MLB season. Maddux, pitching in his age-41 campaign, won 14 games and led MLB with a 1.1 walks per nine innings ratio. Maddux also won the 17th of his 18 Gold Glove awards after committing only one error throughout the entire season. The Hall of Famer gave it his best shot at the dish all season, collecting nine hits, including two doubles, with two runs scored and a stolen base.
This offered Padres batting helmet is brown with a yellow front. An “SD” logo decal is applied to the front of the helmet. A label with Maddux’s number “30” is adhered to the rear of the helmet. A size 7 1/8 label is present inside the helmet. Maddux has signed the brim of the helmet in silver marker. The helmet comes with a J.T. Sports LOA for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication Services for the signature.
