Former Major League manager Jim Leyland won 1,769 games in 22 seasons as manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Florida Marlins, Colorado Rockies and Detroit Tigers. Leyland spent his first 11 of those seasons in Pittsburgh, where he was Manager of the Year in 1990 and 1992, leading the Pirates to three consecutive National League East titles. Leyland also was Manager of the Year for the Detroit Tigers in 2006.

     Leyland wore this size 44 button-down white Majestic jersey during the 2007 All-Star Game in San Francisco, where he was the American League manager. This jersey features “Detroit” sewn on across the chest in navy blue, orange and white tackle twill with navy piping running around the collar and along the buttons. The Majestic manufactures label and “10 44 07 270” strip tag are affixed to the left front tail. The back of the jersey has “LEYLAND” and his number “10” sewn on in navy blue, orange and white tackle twill, with the MLB logo patch sewn on the upper back neck in navy blue, orange and white. The left sleeve has the “2007 ALL-STAR GAME” patch and Leyland signed his name in silver marker on the “1” vertically, while inscribing “Game Used All Star Game 2007” vertically on the “0”. The jersey shows light game use and comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B53109) and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
