Former Major League manager Jim Leyland won 1,769 games in 22 seasons as manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Florida Marlins, Colorado Rockies and Detroit Tigers. Leyland spent his first 11 of those seasons in Pittsburgh, where he was Manager of the Year in 1990 and 1992, leading the Pirates to three consecutive National League East titles. Leyland also was Manager of the Year for the Detroit Tigers in 2006.

Leyland wore this size 44 pullover orange Majestic Cool Basebatting practice jersey during the 2007 All-Star Game festivities in San Francisco, where he was the American League manager. This jersey features “AMERICAN” sewn on across the chest in black, orange and off-white felt material. The jersey has one button at the base of the v-neck and the Majestic tag is screen-printed on the bottom left front tail. The back of the jersey has “LEYLAND” sewn on in black tackle twill and his number “10” sewn on in black and off-white tackle twill, with the MLB logo patch sewn on the upper back neck in black, orange and white. The left sleeve has the “2007 ALL-STAR GAME” patch and the right sleeve has the Detroit Tigers logo patch. The collar and sleeve ends have thin orange, off-white and black striping and Leyland signed his name in silver marker on the “1” vertically, while inscribing “2007 All Star Game BP Jersey” vertically on the “0”. The jersey shows light game use and comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B54303) and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
