     Joe Torre began his career as a catcher/ first baseman, however would become known for his managerial career as the manager for the New York Yankees. During his tenure with the Yankees, he earned 2,236 wins and led the team to six American League pennants, and to four World Series wins, three of which were consecutive (1998 – 2000). In 2014 Torre would be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and would rank 5th in all-time wins as a manager!

     Majestic size 46 home button-down pinstripe jersey was game worn by Torre during the 2007 season and features the interlocking “NY” sewn on in navy blue tackle twill on the upper left chest. Torre’s number “6” is sewn on the back in navy tackle twill, with the MLB logo sewn on the upper back neck. The Authentic Majestic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The left sleeve has the number “10” sewn on black tackle twill. This “10” was in honor of the late Phil Rizzuto, and was worn from August 15 – to the end of the season. Under the 10, a sewn on black armband that was in memory of former pitcher Corey Lidle who had died in October of 2006 in a plane crash. This jersey has been signed and inscribed by Torre, on the number “6” in silver ink, with the inscriptions reading “HOF ‘14” and “WS Champs ’96, 96, 99, 00”. The jersey shows light use and has very small stains on the back. The jersey comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AB11540) MLB Authenticated (BB 452200) and Steiner Holograms.
