     Offered here is a 2007 Louisville Slugger All-Star Game bat with Lloyd McClendon’s name inscribed in the barrel. McClendon, then a coach for the Detroit Tigers, was part of manager Jim Leyland’s staff for the game. McClendon has been a mainstay in the Major Leagues since his debut for the Cincinnati Reds in 1987. Following his playing career, McClendon was a manager for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners. Currently, McClendon is in his second stint as a hitting coach for the Tigers.

     This bat is signed by numerous members of the 2007 American League All-Star team, including Ichiro, C.C. Sabathia, Justin Verlander, Justin Morneau, Alex Rios, Mike Lowell, Placido Polanco, Josh Beckett, manager Jim Leyland, and others. These signatures are all on the barrel of this dark brown bat in silver Sharpie. McClendon’s number “4” is engraved on the knob of the bat. This item comes with MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 628621).
