Milwaukee Brewers left fielder and third baseman Ryan Braun wore this dark blue batting helmet during the first week of his Major League career. This helmet was authenticated a week after Braun’s debut, and it was highly unlikely he switched helmets in that short window, making it likely he wore this in his first MLB game.
Braun had an incredible rookie season in 2007, winning the National League Rookie of the Year award after compiling a slash line of .324/.370/.634 and hitting 34 home runs with 97 RBI. Braun has continued this torrid pace for the majority of his career, winning the NL MVP Award in 2011. Over his 10-year career, Braun has made six All-Star teams and won five NL Silver Sluggers.
This dark blue size 7 ¼ batters helmet features the Brewers’ “M” logo on the front and a decal for Braun’s number “8” on the back. A gold and blue MLB logo is directly beneath the “8.” This helmet comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 505781).
