Vladimir Guerrero hit 449 home runs during his 16 year major league career, but used this particular bat to hit his 339th career dinger, and 11th of the 2007 season. Based upon factory ordering records, player use characteristics, and photo matches by PSA/DNA, this cracked 34 inch, 33.6 ounce NOKONA block letter V27 model bat was used in 2007 by Guerrero. The bat has "VLADIMIR GUERRERO" engraved on the barrel, with the model number "V27" above and his team "LOS ANGELES ANGELS" below. This bat shows tremendous evidence of game use with a heavy handle crack, a barrel covered with ball and stitch marks, including blue ink transfers, while a moderate coating of pine tar exists on the handle all the way up to the label. There is a very heavy impression from a "donut" and the length (4) and his number (27) are on the knob. The sweet spot is signed and inscribed "Vladimir Guerrero 27 HR #11" in black marker plus a second signature. The bat has been photo matched by PSA/DNA via Getty Images with specific noting of the same spattering of batter’s box paint in the pine tar. This is a great gamer from a sure-fire Hall of Famer.
