Former St. Louis Cardinals infielder David Freese spent his first five seasons with the Cardinals and wore this Majestic size 48 button-down road Cardinals jersey during the 2008 spring training a year before he broke into the Majors. This jersey has “Cardinals” scripted across the chest in red-on-navy blue chenille below the iconic logo featuring two redbirds perched atop a bat, along with his number “90” sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “FREESE” and his number “90” sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill. The MLB logo patch is sewn on in navy blue, white and red on the upper back neck and the Majestic logo is embroidered in red on the left sleeve. The Majestic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with a “48” flag. Freese signed his name in silver marker on the middle rung of the “9” on the back of this jersey. This jersey shows light use and comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B54293) and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.

     Also included in this lot are a collection of seven David Freese rookie cards. There are four Upper Deck cards, with three of them containing Freese’s autograph. The first one (signed in blue) is an Upper Deck Signature Stars #188. The second card (signed in blue) is an Upper ROOKIE AUTOGRAPHS BALL PARK COLLECTION #74. The third card (signed in blue) is an Upper Deck ICONS Rookie Card #135. The fourth card is an Upper Deck ICONS Rookie Card #120. The fifth card is a Topps “1st Bowman Card” with a facsimile signature of Freese. The sixth card is a Topps 206 Rookie Card #278 and the final card is an Upper Deck SP AUTHENTIC BY THE LETTER Rookie Signatures card the Freese signed in silver marker on the yellow R.
